Delegate Handbook
Eligibility
Open to youth aged 18–30, undergraduates and early-career professionals from India and abroad. Demonstrated interest in policy, governance or international affairs is preferred.
Selection Process
A three-stage process: application, statement of purpose review and shortlisting by the Selection Committee.
Registration
Registration opens annually. Selected delegates confirm participation through a nominal delegate fee, with scholarship options for eligible applicants.
Dress Code
Formal Indian or Western business attire during sessions; traditional / national attire encouraged for cultural evenings.
Accommodation
Curated accommodation is arranged for outstation and international delegates in partner hotels near the venue.
Travel
Delegates arrange their own travel to New Delhi. Airport transfers and local transport during the programme are managed by the Secretariat.
Code of Conduct
Delegates are expected to uphold parliamentary decorum, cultural respect, and the values enshrined in the GYP Charter throughout the programme.
